A lay Buddhist asked Zen Master Wule: "What is the purpose of studying Buddhism?"
The Zen master said, "I am Wule, where are you?"
The layman was shocked and found that "Wule" was not only a name, but also an act. Enlightenment means "enlightenment and happiness". Using enlightenment as the way to get rid of suffering and gain happiness, the process and goal of learning Buddhism are included.
