Yesterday, Xizu Temple was overflowing with warmth and gratitude as we solemnly held the "2025 Outstanding Employee Awards Ceremony." We extended our sincerest thanks and highest respect to all our brothers and sisters who have dedicated themselves and worked tirelessly in their respective roles over the past year. It is you who have made this land thrive and renewed with vitality every day.
We extend special thanks to the brothers of the Engineering Department. From the majestic Buddha halls and sturdy, functional buildings, to the broad, smooth roads and the melodious music hall—every brick and tile bears the imprint of your sweat and wisdom. It is you who, with your own hands, have built this remarkable complex in just a few years, providing a dignified place for the public.
Let us applaud our family members in the Greening Department. Two years ago, much of this land was still bare; today, lychee, mango, banana, pineapple, and other fruit trees flourish, alongside lush lawns and thriving woods. It is you who, through daily care and dedication, have nourished this land, making Xizu Temple a place of fresh air and picturesque scenery.
We sincerely express gratitude to the guardians of the Security Department. Rain or shine, day and night, your 24-hour unwavering protection has fortified the temple’s safety, significantly reducing losses. Your dignified presence and diligent attitude have earned admiration from countless visitors.
We also offer deep thanks to the support team of the Logistics Department. Whether it is providing vegetarian meals for thousands during festival ceremonies, the steady supply of fresh vegetables from the garden, or ensuring a clean and orderly environment before theater performances, your hard work behind the scenes is indispensable. You are the solid foundation of the temple’s smooth daily operations.
Though we come from different countries and have different skin colors, here our hearts are connected, and we are as close as family. We work together in harmony and share joy during rest, understanding and embracing one another. Together, we have built Xizu Temple into a great family filled with goodness and beauty.
At the end of the ceremony, all colleagues made a shared aspiration: “For Malaysia-China friendship and for world peace, let us be good people who benefit others!”
