On October 12, 2025, the solemn yet warm melodies resonating through Milan’s Sala Verdi concert hall marked the grand opening of the World Peace Culture & Arts Festival. In the spotlight was the WuLe Symphony Orchestra from Madagascar—composed of seventy-five Chinese Buddhist monastics. Under the guidance of Master WuLe, they served as a bridge between cultures, seamlessly uniting Eastern Zen sensibility with Western symphonic tradition, delivering a powerful message of peace and compassion to the world.

The concert unfolded as a "Musical Blessing Ceremony," with every seat in the venue filled. Under the guidance of Master WuLe, the orchestra performed a selection of classics including The White-Haired Girl Suite, Italian Capriccio, The Barber of Seville Overture, and Spring Festival Overture. Through the language of music, they narrated a story of transformation from suffering to rebirth, paid homage to Italian culture, and expressed a universal yearning for reunion and harmony.
After the intermission, the audience witnessed a long-awaited moment: the world-renowned tenor and opera legend Plácido Domingo took the stage, joining the WuLe Symphony Orchestra in collaboration.
From Pietà, rispetto, amore to Granada, from España Cañí to Sabre Dance, the master's voice melded seamlessly with the monastic orchestra. At the confluence of art and faith, each piece resounded as a hymn to love and peace.

In recognition of Mr. Domingo's outstanding contributions to advancing the causes of art and peace, Master WuLe, on behalf of the organizing committee, presented him with the "WULE World Peace Culture Award." As applause filled the hall, the atmosphere grew solemn and deeply moving—a moment where music transcended language, becoming a resonance between souls.
Following this, the WuLe Art Troupe performed the dance piece Prayer Dance for the audience. Through Zen meditation, mantra chanting, and Buddhist hand gestures, they offered their most sincere blessings to all friends:
May there be peace in the world, and may all beings dwell in tranquilit

The concert also featured a special appearance by renowned Italian singer Giovanni Caccamo, whose heartfelt vocals conveyed profound blessings for peace and love.
A number of distinguished Italian artists—including Eugenio Finardi, Alberto Fortis, Omar Pedrini, and Roberto Cacciapaglia—were also present at the event. Together, they lent their voices to the cause of music and peace, filling the venue with a sense of transcultural warmth and shared resonance.

The "World Peace Culture & Arts Festival," as a non-profit international cultural initiative, seeks to harness the power of art to foster dialogue and understanding among diverse civilizations, while spreading the values of compassion and universal love.
Following the Milan stop, the WuLe Symphony Orchestra will continue its tour with performances in cities such as Bologna, Trento, La Spezia, and Venice.
Notably, the Venice performance on October 27 will be graced by the presence of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Ms. Leymah Gbowee, who will engage in a profound dialogue with Master WuLe on the theme of global peace.
The concert drew to a close amid a standing ovation from the entire audience.
Through compassionate and solemn melodies, the WuLe Symphony Orchestra led all present to realize:
That music can be both a form of prayer, and a force for peace.
