On February 9th, our temple's official symphony orchestra - Wule Symphony Orchestra - held its first performance of 2025 at Xizu Temple's Dawn Grand Theater: a Musical Cultivation and Blessing Ceremony, which attracted approximately 200 attendees.
The musical ceremony comprised three components: symphony, dance, and chorus, using Zen music as a medium to propagate great compassion through musical expression. This performance artfully blended classical and contemporary artistic elements, not only expressing grand aspirations for global harmony and universal love but also resonating with each participant's personal wishes. Zen music transcends mere artistic expression - it is spiritual cultivation that surpasses linguistic and national boundaries, awakening inner tranquility and wisdom.
