On October 28th at 3:00 PM, at the invitation of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Venerable Master Wu Le, along with representatives of the WuLe Symphony Orchestra, paid a visit to the university. They were warmly received by the Rector, Prof. Tiziana Lippiello, who engaged in a cordial and in-depth discussion with the delegation.

ector Lippiello, a distinguished Italian sinologist and scholar of Chinese cultural studies, has long been dedicated to research on the history of Chinese Buddhism, Daoism, and Confucian thought. As one of Europe’s most influential experts on Chinese culture, she is fluent in Chinese, has visited China on numerous occasions, and has made significant contributions to cultural exchange between Italy and China.
During the meeting, the Rector expressed:
“As one of the earliest European institutions to establish a Chinese studies program, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice has always maintained a profound interest in Chinese Buddhist culture. We are deeply honored to welcome Venerable Master Wu Le and look forward to inviting him to deliver lectures at our university in the future, sharing the wisdom of the Dharma with our faculty and students.”
In response, Master Wu Le stated:
“I extend my sincere gratitude for the invitation from Ca’ Foscari University. Many have heard of Buddhism, yet few understand what the true Dharma is. My mission in this life is to share the authentic Dharma with the world.”
The Rector asked with a smile, “Then, where should one begin if one wishes to learn the Dharma?”
Master Wu Le replied with serene depth:
“Everything begins with inner practice.
Guard your mind, allow it to grow still —
let go, let go, let go again.”
These few words carried a profound and stirring energy. For a moment, the room fell into deep silence, as though time itself had paused.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Master Wu Le sincerely invited Rector Lippiello to attend next year’s Buddha’s Birthday celebration at the Xizu Temple in Madagascar. The Rector gladly accepted and expressed her anticipation for their next meeting.
This moment was more than a cultural exchange — it was a resonance of wisdom and spirit. From Venice to the East, the voices of peace and compassion are spreading, in the gentlest of ways, to every corner of the world.
