On March 16th, Tree Planting Day, the Association Chinoise de Tananarive Madagascar (ACT) organized a tree-planting event at Xizu Temple, attracting an enthusiastic participation of approximately 300 individuals, including long-standing overseas Chinese, French friends, and local Malagasy residents.
Environmental conservation is one of the essential practices for Buddhist monastics. In alignment with this principle, our temple has established a dedicated afforestation initiative. On that day, ACT members brought a variety of saplings and reverently planted them within the temple grounds, nurturing the hope that these young trees would one day grow into towering sentinels of vitality.
