A disciple said to Zen Master Wule: "In terms of practice, if I don't have the guidance of my master, it will be like a small boat sailing in the sea late at night, and I will lose my direction and feel that I cannot live without my master."
The Zen master said, "Why leave?"
The disciple said, "I rely too much on my master and feel like I can't grow up."
The Zen master asked back: "Where are you going when you grow up?"
The disciple was hit by the head and suddenly realized: the world and life are all over the Dharma, so how can I go elsewhere?
