1. More than 1,400 years ago, Master Zhizhe became a monk in Tiantai Mountain and founded the Tiantai Sect, one of the eight major sects of Chinese Buddhism. Later, Master Zhizhe returned to the monk's place to spread the Dharma and named this mountain Tiantai Mountain.

2. In 1997, Master Shi Wule, who was the abbot of Taiping Temple in Hong'an, proposed the practice method of "becoming a Buddha with virtue" and the concept of "three meditations - Zen music, Zen tea, Zen forest", began to practice music Zen, and founded the prototype of the Zen band.

3. In the spring of 2003, Master Shi Wule, who was then the abbot of Hong'an Taiping Temple, came to Tiantai Mountain at the invitation of the Hong'an County Government and began to build a domestic temple.

4. In 2006, the art class of Wuchang Buddhist College was established.

5. In September 2007, the Main Hall of the Domestic Temple was completed. With the support of the great masters of the ten directions, the vice president of the Chinese Buddhist Association and a contemporary Buddhist master, Monk Jinghui, personally delivered a seat to Master Shi Wule. Master Shi Wule was awarded the abbot of the Kaishan Mountain and became the founder of the temple.

Master Jinghui gave two poems to the man who explained the Scriptures and Le Changyue Zen, with the appendix as follows:

If you understand the true nature, don’t ask about Zen, and be happy and peaceful, you will be in a natural way.

Always use the six paramitas to please the people and cultivate themselves and have the fate of being able to be.

The high-standard purpose is to reach the top of thousands of peaks, and the clear wind and turbidity flow.

I realized the unexpectedness of the lyrics without strings, and the vast sea of people drove a loving boat.

6. In March 2008, the Zen band was changed to an art troupe, officially opening classes to run schools, cultivating Buddhist art talents, and promoting and practicing the concept of music Zen.

7. In June 2009, domestic temples dressed in high clothing to welcome the 101-year-old monk Master Guangxuan.

8. In September 2009, at the International Medicine Master Dharma Conference held at Puzhao Zen Temple in Fujian, Master Guangxuan gave five magic weapons including Ruyi and Fuchen to Abbot Shiwule, and personally named the Zen Music Art Class "Guangxuan".

9. In 2010, the "Guangxuan Art Troupe" was officially established, and Master Guangxuan personally designed the group logo for the art troupe.

10. In 2013, Abbot Shi Wule overcame many obstacles, resigned from the abbot of domestic temples and all social positions, established the permanent plenary meeting of domestic temples as the highest authority, handed over all power to the management of the monastic community, and was only responsible for practicing and spreading the Dharma. He no longer held any administrative powers, returned to the great idea of equality of all sentient beings, and inherited the concept of Six Harmony and Respect, and actively placed it under the supervision and management of the monastic community.

11. In 2014, the Buddhist Conservatory of Music was established.

12. In 2015, the Jinghui Symphony Orchestra, the Dawn Choir and the Vetiver Dance Group were established, and a global tour was launched.

13. In 2019, in order to promote the Chinese Buddhist Zen Buddhism and traditional Chinese culture with the theme of peace and great love and serve world peace, Abbot Shi Wule personally went to the African island country Madagascar to build Xizu Temple, and many young monks volunteered to follow it.

14. In February 2023, Abbot Shiwule led the Zen Orchestra to Mauritius Zen Music Performance, which achieved great success; from June to July of the same year, the Zen Orchestra went to the United States for a tour, which was widely praised; on October 27 of the same year, the Consecration of Xizu Temple and the Ceremony of the Abbot Shanting Court was held, and Zen Master Shiwule was awarded the Abbot of Xizu Temple.

15. In 2024, Abbot Shiwule led the Zen Orchestra to perform at the UNESCO headquarters, and then launched the twelve tours of the seven European countries to promote the Chinese Buddhist Zen Buddhism and Chinese traditional culture with peace and great love as the main theme, and serve world peace.
